CODRU is a 4 star hotel complex favorably located in the very center of Chisinau, in the diplomatic protocol district of the capital. The hotel mainly specialises in accommodating official delegations, businessmen and celebrities. Therefore our hotel accommodated the most of the states magistrates and official delegations that visited our country, many political personalities and representatives of international organizations. Our frequent guests are famous singers, actors and sportsmen. Besides a hotel and a restaurant, CODRU is an important conference and business centre which offers conference halls and secretarial assistance.
CODRU has three buildings:
- The Central building (1974) with seven floors and 150 rooms. The 1st floor hosts the Reception desk, the press-room for up to 50 persons, business centre, the restaurant "CODRU", beauty parlor, press and souvenir boutique, currency exchange, rent-a-car office.
- The Old building with 2 floors dates back to late XIX century and is a monument of architecture protected by the state. In present this building hosts offices of local and foreign companies.
- CODRU VIP Residence (1984) with 3 floors was completely renovated in 2002 and afterwards considered a building of a high architectural value. The first floor hosts the White and the Coral conference halls, the second and the third floors host the VIP and the presidential suites.
CODRU is the only hotel whose image is included in the Encyclopedia "Soviet Moldavia" edited in 1982 in Chisinau.
CODRU apartments - unique of their type in Moldova - have been especially build and designed to reflect the finest elegance and comfort. Their spacious interiors, thought to the tiniest detail to provide a selected atmosphere, perfectly combine living and working environments: elegant arches and columns, refined furniture, rich brass inlayed sofas and armchairs, old Leonardo da Vinci style engravings, all create a solemn and luxurious atmosphere. The separate bedroom and the bathroom with hydromassge and sauna will fill you up with energy after a hard working day. All of the apartments include a minibar and a fully equipped kitchen in case you would like to prepare your favorite meal by yourself. The professional staff of the hotel is always ready to help you at your first call. Apartments are located in CODRU VIP Residence and in the main building of the hotel. Total area - 150 sq. m., total - 8 apartments.
Living room: a hall with two armchairs and a table, working space with an office desk, TV and a sofa, a conference area visually separated from the working area by columns and an arche with an oval table and chairs.
Bedroom: a wide double bad, wardrobe, bed tombs, office desk, minibar, additional blanket, international phone, personal computer and internet outlet, cable TV (25 channles), adjustable heating/ventilation system.
Bathroom: bathtub or shower cabin, sauna, separated water closet, hair dryer, slippers, cosmetic and personal hygiene accessories
Restaurant CODRU: for those who love the best European and National traditions, fresh and natural ingredients and the luxury of comfort.
Our bright 120-seater restaurant in elegant classic style serves variety of Moldovan and European dishes and breakfast, lunch and dinner, all presented in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We take great care in preparing our dishes using the freshest ingredients, authentic recipes and the first class mastery of our experienced chefs. We recommend you to taste some of our specialities like Brisket CODRU, Fillet Magnolia or hot dish CODRU, our refined desserts, but also the best Moldavian wines in addition to our specialities. Connoisseurs will appreciate our interpretation of European Cuisine mixed with authentic Moldovan recipes.
Restaurant CODRU is situated on the first floor of the Hotel CODRU central building. Being close to the Central Park where newly-weds prefer to make their photo shooting, many of them chose to celebrate their wedding parties here, moreover after the party they usually remain in our special white rooms for the just married.
Restaurant CODRU provides the best service in our Ceremony halls and Republican Palace at the up-scale meetings and events enjoying the best appreciation of the guests. Our catering experts will be pleased to organize special events to suit your particular needs.
Conference halls. CODRU has a notorious experience in organizing meetings and conference varying from protocol government meetings, working conferences organized by the European Council, the International Monetary Fund, United Nations offices to CIS president summits and other interstate meetings.
The hotel complex offers 4 exclusive conference halls able to host from 8 to 200 persons at a time. The Venetian style White Hall, the Coral Hall and the Protocol Hall are placed in the VIP residence, while the Press Hall - in the main building of the hotel. |
